Executive Problem Solver
Former Owner & CEO
I'm Roger Franklin and I didn’t learn business from a book. I learned it on the factory floor.
I started working at my dad’s company at 12 years old. In high school, I joined what would become my life’s work: Crystal Computer Corporation. I did everything — grunt work, manufacturing, installations, software development, customer support. After earning my degree in Applied Mathematics from Georgia Institute of Technology, I joined full-time and began rebuilding the company from the inside out.
Over the next three decades, I worked in every seat in the business: engineer, operations manager, sales leader, executive, and ultimately sole owner and CEO
I re-architected our core products.
I built operational systems and processes.
I created sales forecasting models and pricing structures.
I hired key leaders — and let go of the wrong ones.
I managed cash carefully — without a line of credit.
I grew revenue 5x and the team 3x.
I turned transactional “just-a-vendor” relationships into trusted partnerships with major media organizations. We grew annual recurring revenue at key accounts from tens of thousands to millions per year.
I sold the company once — and nine months later, repossessed it.
I bought out my family to become sole owner.
And in 2019, I sold the business again — this time successfully — to LTN Global at a multiple of revenue and many multiples of EBITDA.
After the acquisition, I stayed on for more than six years as General Manager and later Chief Strategy Officer, leading teams, advising across departments, refining strategy, and strengthening key accounts.
Today, I help small and mid-sized business owners do what I had to learn the hard way:
Project and manage cashflow (the single most important SMB tool)
Clarify revenue models and pricing
Improve operational efficiency
Strengthen customer relationships
Structure teams that work without constant oversight
Organize documentation and internal systems
Prepare for acquisition — or simply build a healthier company
I’m not a theorist. I’m an operator.
I’ve written code, installed hardware, negotiated leases, built intranets, run board meetings, managed due diligence data rooms, built sales teams, and negotiated exits. I understand what it feels like to make payroll when cash is tight — and what it takes to build something buyers value.
My approach is practical, structured, and focused on making a business stronger long after I exit.
I work best with founders and owners who:
Built something real
Feel stretched across too many roles
Know their business could run better
Want clarity, structure, and momentum
If you want someone who understands the math behind the numbers, the people behind the process, and the pressure behind the decisions — that’s where I fit.
I’m an executive problem solver.
